Did you know you can help disease detectives detect and solve foodborne disease outbreaks? Learn some ways you can help detect and solve foodborne disease outbreaks, and maybe help protect others from getting sick.

Throughout September, approximately 3,000 organizations will participate in activities in support of National Preparedness Month. CDC supports this initiative by partnering with national, regional, state, and local government agencies, as well as private and public organizations, to encourage persons to take part in preparedness efforts at home, school, and throughout their communities.

Older adults should be screened for fall risk annually. Community providers (people without formal medical training who work with older adults in senior centers or aging services) may be a viable group to expand the reach of screenings.

Videos that highlight the dangers of tobacco use and secondhand smoke, as well as tools to help middle and high schoolers evaluate media messages.
