NCI Specific Information: The NCI K25 award is aimed at fostering the research careers of scientists with post-doctorate degree training in quantitative science disciplines, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, imaging science, and informatics, or engineering, who have little or no training in the biological or biomedical sciences and are now committed to developing research programs in understanding human biology and human disease as it relates to cancer-focused research. Early-stage investigators and established investigators who wish to incorporate cancer-focused research into their quantitative science or engineering projects or reorient their quantitative science or engineering research interests to cancer-focused research and who have not already obtained research project (i.e.
